Hiya, My name is Crazykingpotato or Tato dev for short and this is Greenhorn

The Game Greenhorn is  RPG Maker Game with visual novel, dungeon crawling and turn based combat elements. 

STORY

When entering a new chapter in life, it fills one with excitement and worry. An excitement to experience the new and the worry of unknown. Such as the feelings of Yua Chikai, a 18 year college student who arrived at her dream college called Greenhorn college.  A time filled with hopeful dreams and memories. But there is something that lies underneath the surface. An unnatural but primordial phenomenon that fuses our imagination and reality into physical form. Yua and her new found friend will be lead her down a path of comedy, tragedy and a hidden secret world underneath her college

Path to Completion(Within 1 year of development and aiming for May-June 2024) 

The Current Build for Version 1.0 and is the most earliest form of the game.  What is has is-

• Early dialog intro of the story
• Early implementation of a Hub Overworld
• Possible implementation of combat

However, there are Version 1.1 that will appear soon as early as the end of the month. it will have-

• "Act 1: Head First into the deep" will be done.
• Implementation of First Hidden Boss.
• Minor Campus Side quests will be implemented
• Adding NPC Dialog
• Adding additional campus overworld maps

That being said. I would try to aim for monthly updates to the game as much as possible(I really hope parallax maps won't eat my time up.) However, the overall development of the game is broken down to into 3 month cycles where the each act is complete in these cycles. There are 4 acts in total with minor character stories and plot threads to follow. 

As for Mechanics, I wish to implement 4 different mechanics to spice up game play

• A crafting system for weapons and armor(Players can enter dungeons to gather materials to craft into armor and weapons)
• A Gacha system for gaining spells(THERE IS A LORE REASON) and skill and magic spell shop for those unlucky few
• repeatable dungeons and random dungeons
• Events to increase stats or Friendship
